The Corn Lily plant looks from a distance as corn. Getting closer, one would notice that the corn lily has a richer texture, with sensual shapes. This plant grows to 6 feet high.
Driving from Ouray to Silverton through the Red Mountain Pass, there is an old abandoned village next to the mine. This Corn Lily was growing right in front of the porch of an abandoned house.
The Corn Lily has a beautiful green, that glows. However, this picture was printed in Black and White as the shapes and the textures are better emphasized in Black and White.
