Denver Zoo is a nice educational place for children. Every year, we get a pass to allow our children to get to know and understand wildlife better.
Usually, I take my camera on these trips for family snapshots mostly. In October 2004, as we were walking on our way out of the zoo, I noticed this tree with backlit colored foliage, and could not resist.
The dark trunk looks like a running scarecrow, with open arms, as if set on fire.
