From Ouray to Silverton, in Southern Colorado, wind a million dollar road: that is its real name! This road goes up almost vertically from Ouray into Red Mountain Pass, where an abandoned mining village provides great photographic opportunity.
We parked the RV in an early morning not far from this spot. A still water spot provided a great reflection opportunity. The sun was rising on the right, at about 90 degrees, allowing for a perfect polarization of the light, and thus, great color saturation .
