Lebanon is a narrow strip of land, 150 miles long north to south, and 20 miles wide east to west. On the west side of Lebanon, the 150 miles coastline is a mix of rocky cliffs and sandy beaches, intertwinded with beach resorts appealing to European and Arabs during the summer months.
This photo was taken in the afternoon in Southern Lebanon, in a modest restaurant by the beach. The roof of the patio is made out of leaves of palm trees.
The Mediterannean sea is known for its deep blue color, reflecting an unusually blue sky.
