Blocks of ice, covered with fresh snow, makes up for beautiful puffs on the Elk River, near Steamboat Springs.
The vertical composition and tight crop accentuates the impression of puffs extending to the infinity. High contrast light in the early afternoon increased the contrast between the white of the snow, and the dark reflections on the water.
