Aspen trees are simply the most beautiful trees in Colorado. In winter, their fragile and straight silhouette contrasts nicely with the environment.
I took this photograph on a January afternoon, an overcast day, with temperatures below 0 degree Fahrenheit (-18 degree celcius). Compositionally, the slight diagonal compensates a centered composition. The overriding surrounding white makes it a peaceful and relaxing composition.
